In 2000, Namsan has been recognized as a
multinational city with the history dating
back to
600 years during the reign of the Chosun King.
(It has been a main location during the Chosun
era-Oct. 25, 1934, and in 1949 it was made
part of Seoul)
It’s surface area is estimated to be 2,971,000
pyung
and 265m high above the sea level.
Therefore, it is becoming one of the famous
attractions which is worth visiting.
